Creative Overload

I am working on 3 projects at one time. I think this is a good thing. I have the two that have deadlines for Monday under control.

Today, I sandwiched the two silk fabrics that I am using in the rusty color play Twelve X Twelve piece. I can’t show what I am doing next with these!

Yesterday, Steph took me out for a belated birthday lunch and then we paid a visit to Gossamer Fiber Arts, a place I have wanted to visit for some time. I bought some lovely merino wool prefelt and this plant dyed roving.

Now, I am going to do hand-stitching on the alternate universe piece and watch the finale of Project Runway.

That Gossamer Fiber Arts place looks like heaven! What a fun birthday adventure. I had to laugh about creative overload — you always seem to have an abundance of creative energy, which is something I really admire! I’m finishing 12×12 today, too. I’ll be looking forward to see how you use that luscious fabric!

I can’t believe you’re still making fabric collages for the Sketchbook. Seems like you should have finished up by now. Incidentally, I love them all!
Shoot, did I miss your birthday? Hope it was a grand day.

Love the stitching on those two top fabrics: yumm! Tell me what you did with the rather serpentine stitching in the lower right of the top (turq) piece. Did you just eyeball that or what?

    Hi Dear,
The fabric is very yummy-especially the rust colored one. The self portrait from the last post just made me smile. Sorry I missed your birthday.
