Merry Mardi Gras

Oh! This is scary isn’t it? This has been an interesting day. I spent most of the morning with my breast in a mammography machine getting a needle biopsy done. Bummer! Have to hope that it is not malignant, but I have had breast cancer twice before – 17 years ago in the left breast and 11 years ago in the right breast. I will get the results tomorrow or Thursday.

At least this evening was fun. Our church does a Mardi Gras mass and Fat Tuesday pancake supper. At the mass we dress up – even the clergy – have a joke fest for the sermon, the altar is decorated Mardi Gras Style and dancing in the aisles to a live Dixie Land Band. Yee Ha.

Love the mask!! And my thoughts and prayers are with you for good news from the dr. Let’s think of “lime green” as healing energy!
