After several dreary gray days, the sun came out today, and we saw blue sky

We hauled out the cushions for the deck furniture and spent some time outside. M & M came over to spend some time so that their mom and dad could have a date. It has been a rough week for Steph. Mia tells me that Chester is very happy and bouncing around on 3 legs.

Mac and cheese, apple juice and Popsicles were served alfresco. Here are some M & M pics.

They also took great pleasure in playing with these huge leaves from a shrub in the front yard.

Oh, and look what showed up in the front yard on Friday — we have the makings of an al fresco bathroom out there.
