Five Down, Two to Go

I put the finishing touches on the flamingo, titled A Delicate Balance. I added the sun and a binding – the perfect fabric found in my batik stash.

I also finished one of the fused tops from last night. I added some circles in different sizes and some quilting. I’m not sure how to title this. Right now it is Going in Circles.

Today I went to see Cynthia my hair stylist for color and a cut. While we were waiting for the dye to cure, she said she wanted to give me a pedicure. I am a low maintenance kind of gal. I don’t really pamper myself much so this was a special treat. I have coveted DebR’s lovely toenails. Now I have some great toes, too!

The sun is the perfect addition to the flamingo quilt! Wonderful. Now if only the toenails were purple…

Oh, la, la!!! What pretty feet!

    Love your circles…really neat.

Ooooh, pretty toes! And I love the bright green shoes. (Of course!)

I really like the finished versions of both quilts too. Adding the circles to the second one was a brilliant move.

    Hey Gerrie!

With the swirling nature of your circular quiltlets… and the current high activity level of hurricanes… just call each one after the named storms this year…

    Cute shoes…
