I’m Back!

It has been a while since I have blogged. I am going to try to post a couple of times a week, maybe more. Last year, I took part in a SAQA Facebook activity called 100 days of creativity. Every day, I did some embroidery on a 5 inch square of indigo. These are the 100 squares. I hope to figure out how I want to connect them to make one large quilt. Stay tuned to see how that happens.

  1. I second and third the previous comments! Blog reading is so much more satisfying than FB or Instagram posts. šŸ™‚

Glad to see you blogging again. This platform isn’t dead yet! šŸ˜‰ā¤

  3. No wonder you’ve been quiet for a while Gerrie. Congrats on the good looking new website and your re-energised blog.
Myself being a piecer at heart, I hadn’t realised this (Pickup Sticks) would be a challenge for you. I’ve done various surface design workshops, and used some of it, but always come back to piecing, improv especially, as for example yesterday’s blog post. To me blogging is a visual diary. I’ve had quiet spells but never for long. Have a great year!
