Another Mod Bird from my talented daughter Lisa came to hang out with the one I received earlier. Here they are getting to know each other in front of the gorgeous flowers that Mark brought me. The new one is on the right. She had it on her blog earlier this week and several people were coveting it. So glad she is mine! Lisa and Mark also prepared a fabulous dinner. It was a very nice, rainy day. (RAIN? It doesn’t rain in May in California, where am I?)
The flowers are fantastic, the mod birds are a hoot, but what about that beautiful vase?! Was that part of your booty, or something you just had lying around the house?
I loved the Modbirds so much when I saw them here on your site, that I checked out Lisa’s two sites, and she is now making me a bird of my own. I’m so excited! Have cleared a place of honor – just need to come up with a name for him (I’ve decided it will definately be a boy bird).
Hey Gerrie, I was in Cambria on Thrusday driving to San Jose in an absolute down pour…often couldn’t see the road..what is going on in sunny California..arrived home to rain in Texas…must be spring. Love the birds you are a lucky mom.
