Friday, the Thirteenth

I want to be sure to frighten you on this scary day. Here is a self portrait, taken in the mirror:

Hatgloves

This is my birthday present from Mr C. I am all set for Tahoe and Portland. It is very soft wool, knitted by hand in Peru.

I want to thank all of you who wished me a happy birthday yesterday and today. It was overwhelming and very exciting. Mr C says I look more like my baby picture, the older I get!!

I also want to say a big thank you to my daughter, Lisa, who wrote another very loving tribute to me on her blog. (She exaggerates!) You can also see the cool collage with birds on a wire that she made for me.

We are having a gorgeous fall day. Jayme and I have been playing outside with M & M while Mr C and Mark have been working on the landscaping. Mark has designed a beautiful plan for our yard with the elements phased in over time. Of course, I am so excited that I want it tomorrow.

    Hey Gerrie,

I get to chime in so late I’m almost early. Happy happy birthday baby (sung like Elvis, of course.) Have a fine day and a fine year. June
