Still Under Water

I am still under water with my quilting, that is. After getting the maverick fish out of the way, I went back to the kelp piece and finished the quilting tonight. I am right on schedule as the original due date was the end of this week, but PAQA South has pushed the date back to early November so I am really early – yeah!

A couple of details:

Now, I can’t wait to try my new overstitch edge on this.

Wow! This is quite a beautiful colors. It is such an unusual pallette of muted colors, very reminisent of water.

I really like tonights 3×3. The little triangle adds that little something extra. I liked kelp. Then I clicked on the image and went to the larger version – oh my!!! Gerrie, it is gorgeous. I love the crystalline effects in the hand dyes. It has the feeling of the sunlight bouncing underwater. Beautiful!
